BE SURE TO PUT YOUR SON'S NAME ON EVERYTHING!

Each year we receive numerous calls requesting lost items from camp. Few lost items can be returned without a name. When collecting your son on Saturday morning please check his bags, particularly for his uniform, his jacket, any other items he particularly treasures. Once he leaves camp it is more difficult to locate lost items.

MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS

Every Cub must have completed the health history on the front of his application and the Consent to Treat on the back. Adults must have a completed Class 1 medical form. Arrangements have been made with local hospitals in case of illness or injury. A certified health officer is in residence at the camp 24 hours a day.

Council Sibling Policy andSmoking Policy applies. (see General Info)

CAMP STAFF

A certified Camp Director and certified Program Director oversee an experienced staff. All staff is trained and many more program areas require special certification including the aquatic director, field sports director and shooting sports directors. Carefully selected Boy Scouts and volunteers serve as program aids.

ACCREDITATION

The San Francisco Bay Area Council's camps are nationally accredited. The camp undergoes a rigid inspection based on the National Camping Standards of the Boy Scouts of America.

CAMPERSHIPS

At times it is difficult for a boy and his parents to raise the full fee for summer camp. Starting to save early is a big help for most families. Campership applications for those in need are available at the Council Service Centers. No Scout will receive a full camper-ship. Troop/ Pack committees will be encouraged to assist Scouts in finding ways to earn as much as possible towards their camp fees.

Approval notice is sent to parents and Scoutmaster/Cubmaster. Camperships are not transferable. Things to consider when filling out the campership form are family income, number in the family, and efforts of the Scout, his family, and his Troop/ Pack to earn his way.

Funds are limited, the campership committee will make every effort to see as many Scouts as have need are assisted in going to camp.

REFUNDS

Program Refund Policy applies.
